Anybody mess with the stocks on NP I've been making tons of cash off it for years.
in addition to buying everything at 15 I usually buy the most expensive stock and flip it the same day for 20-30k profit.
There is not much of a method I just buy the most expensive stock and wait for it to go up a few points.
It's much quicker than waiting fro 15 to get to 30+ to sell.
I usually make 20-30k a day in a short while, easy money.

I never used to do it because it was alot of cash (at the time) 500-800k a day on a stock I was like nooo.
But if you look closely you'll notice that once the stock passes 100 or so in value, they move up in multiple points instead of 1 point
while the cheaper stock can stay the same all day or move up 1-3 in a matter of days.

cheaper stocks 15 to 20 can take a week to get up or go down
while 400 to 450 can take 3-4 hours.
Only thing is you have to watch it a bit more frequently.

Yea I do the same but not everyday, could take a year for any of those stocks to go to 60.

I always buy at 15, then sell at 200. Easily about 50 million in one serving. :)

I can't remember anything going from 15 to 200 recently, how long did that take?

20-30k profit a day isn't enough to justify the risk/time...

I've thought about doing this. You can definitely make some quick cash because the high priced stocks are so liquid. How often do you have to sell them for a loss?

I buy at 15 when I remember and sell off anything about 45. It usually gives me enough np to do what i need. Since I dont check stocks regularly it ends up being a nice surprise when I can make 100k :p

^ It's much more profiting in the long run to do that (especially if you have more stocks and wait for the price to rise even more :p) ^__^ ~

edit: it just went to 462 and I'm selling it, that's 36k

Again I still do my 15 stock and hold forever till it goes up but I also flip the big stocks for quickies.

rainie, did you draw that face! lmao

If you're rich and impatient then day trading is probably worth it. I'm not really reckless, so I don't do it. I buy at 15 and sell at 150. I'd rather sit on a bunch of stocks for a long time than lose NP day trading.

Never buy less than 1,000 shares per stock at a time. It'll help in the long run. Always buy at 15np, never sell for a loss... there's a guide somewhere

I know, but I'm a huge silly billy and usually buy 500 at a time, or 500 in two different stocks, sometimes less than 500 x3
It's not super efficient and my fiance keeps telling me to just man up and buy 1000, but I've still gotten $$$ off it!

Wow. I don't think I've ever bought less than 1000 of a stock. How high do you sell for that to be profitable?

What risk? If you buy at minimum (15np per share) and wait for the stock to rise above that, you always make money. You never have to sell a stock. Never. ALWAYS wait for them to go above your buy price. There have only been a few stocks in neopets history to delist (thus causing anyone invested in them to lose their investment).

The neopets stockmarket is nothing like the real stockmarket - you can make guaranteed returns on the neopets market.

I had a guide at one point, dunno if it's still up. Use the search feature and I'm sure you'll find it ;)

I thought TNT said they weren't going to let the stocks go bust any more? (Or something cryptic which lead us to believe that anyway.)

1 1000 shares of FISH Sold 1000 shares of FISH for 51000 NP. 2 1000 shares of YIPP Sold 1000 shares of YIPP for 51000 NP.

Nigel the Chia charges 20 NP as commission.

Summary : You had 272465 NP. After 2 successful transactions, you have 374445.

Not bad for a 240% profit.
