My guide and advice is based on all purpose and not species/stat specific items.

Thank you for posting alternatives.

Healer - Bronze Scorchstone - 8k (Heals 15 HP) Might as well swap this for a GHS

Ne, GHS probably shouldn't be in the 100k Battledome Set since that'd be ~95% of the nps used o: ~~
(I do agree with robe rather than RSH (if users are willing to train agility) though, much cheaper & better stats :p~)

@OP; I'm curious as to why you decided to go down from a 15 icon bomb to a 12 iconer from the 100k Battledome Set to the 250k Battledome Set o:

    Although it's a great guide otherwise ^__^
    Nice effort (:

So just shut up and be mine~

I had initially done a few different sets for each price range and when I reduced them and combined them into one set for each price range set I messed up some smaller stuff.

I will work on fine tuning the sets.

For the 750k set, since you already have HCC which blocks all dark, I would suggest you switch from Sophies Magic Hat to Patched Magic Hat. That way Sophies Magic Hat's 3 dark block won't be wasted. :D

On a side note, anyone uses Rainbow Clockwork Grundo?

That is not really the best weapon imho but I will have to use it as there is really no alternative to the Wand of the Dark Faerie.

This is awesome, I wanted to train my pet for the BD, but totally clueless on what items to use. I like that you've got the price rangers too.

    selling neopet art; here.

These sets are just to help you find a Battledome set in your price range and are unrelated to training your pets. All of the items I have in this guide can be equipped by any Neopet as no prerequisite on stats and/or species is required.

Pure fire icons, instead of fire and light icon mixture.

There is a difference between the two.

Furthermore the Portable Kiln is consistent in its icons where as the Flask of Liquid Fire has a variable stat.

FoLF has 4 more icons than Portable Kiln (in addition to the same amount of fire icons) for 1/60th the price. Try again.

In 90%+ of 2P battles, your opponent will have an intelligence of at least Bright. So not really variable.

well the Portable Kiln actually does 11 icons and the Flask of Liquid Fire does only a potential 10. The light is easy as hell to block with now 2 HT full light blockers. and the inconsistent variable to the icons make the FoLF an inferior weapon in my opinion. You are entitled to think what you want on the matter but I feel strongly that the Portable Kiln is the better of those two weapons. The Portable Kiln is not irrelevant it is simply an expensive alternative and the better way to handle pure fire icons.

It's worth a 6000% price increase for an extra icon?

    Airtight logic.

No it isn't logical to go out and buy one you're right. I apologize for my foolish error. I will fix that later after I sleep.

For some people it is worth it they might not quite be at the HT level set wise and some times Kiln is worth it. Its the same argument for people use use Sword of Water instead of Trident because of the consistent 15 water vs a fractional 11-19 icons. In the end it'll be different for for each persons set.

Namely... it was a good weapon to put there that fit the price range and stood the best chance at slipping past an opponents defense.

I've update this thread with a new Alternative 600k Battledome Set. I'll be trying to update prices on everything when I get the chance to so its all accurate. Feel free to post any changes in prices that you notice off hand. Everything should still be roughly in the range for the larger price tag.

Thyoras Tear costs that on its own! lol

So that would kind of change the 55mil to somewhere around 100mil.

I need to edit this with additional price ranges but I've still got a lot on my plate for the time being.
