Just how dangerous is it?

Everyone says ABing in the magic shop is very dangerous. Thing is, I would assume there are legit restockers who get the morphing potions and such as well, so why would it raise red flags? I was thinking about doing it, but I'm rather nervous.

Any opinions? [:

They freeze legit rs'ers sometimes too. :/

It's only 'dangerous' because people put their buy times down really low just to get the MPs, then get frozen because of it. I also heard something about TNT 'watches' Magic more than any other shop because it has the most ABers in there - dunno about that however.

Does anyone know any safe ways to restock? Preferably tried methods. Posted Image I mean in terms of times, and for what period of time to restock there a day.

This will sound pretty lame, but I feel bad for the legit people that work so hard for their shit, only to get frozen because of people like us.

I do magic all the time, have reasonable settings(aka, don't be a retard) and you'll be fine.

My settings are slightly risky. Maybe 3-5s is what I regularly use in specific shops and the most I get is RS banned for 12 hours.

True but they also overvalue their shit, they nickel and dime you every chance they get, they drive up prices of something that would otherwise be cheap. I derive a great sense of satisfaction from setting my prices at half the tp price.

    And welcome back Adina.

    And welcome back Adina.

They also go to less-moderated item databases and artificially inflate the prices of the items they are trading so it looks like their price is better than it actually is.

    I restocked there for years.
Never got frozen for it, nor any of my friends who also restocked there.
Somehow, they can tell the difference between a restocker and an aber in that shop.

I find that hard to believe as there are many of us here that AB there and have never been frozen for that. If that were true it would be site wide and not just there. I have never been frozen for auto-buying. I have been frozen but never for that reason.

Just from what I've heard, the Magic Shop seems to be the most highly watched area on Neopets.
I, personally, would be worried about the dangers of being frozen.

If you mean those are your refresh times, that doesn't really impact your freeze risk unless you refresh every 0.1 seconds or something o3o
(&If you meant buy times, then it'd be impossible for you to get any items :p~)

So just shut up and be mine~

I think abing in magic is quite safe, until you manage to actually buy high profit potions. I've been abing in there safely but after getting a couple of buys and some pretty good ones, I got frozen so...~

You never know. If legit people can get frozen, so can ABers. I, like many others, don't have a clue as to how TNT decides who to freeze in terms of the magic shop.

I have a theory that it has to do with butthurt legit (or illegit for that matter) RS'ers reporting people they see trading MP's that they missed. Don't know if there is any merit behind this, however.

That's possible. A lot of people say don't put UB's on the TP immediately after you RS them. It's dangerous.
