So, at what amount of NP would you consider YOURSELF (not others) poor?
(when you're making a steady income eg, ABing frequently, reselling, selling n00dz for np)

I know some of you (soul, strat) think that 100m is probably an attainable
others (me lol) find 100m pretty godlike.

at what point would you be apprehensive spending np? o:


for me i think 5m is damned low, i have a ton of investments stored up, but if i ever broke below 5m i'd start saving up instead of spending ;o

Right now, I have roughly 400k with only 4 semi-valuable items (worth between 50-200k).
So, I am constantly apprehensive in terms of spending my money.
However, I feel that the absolutely lowest I should have in the bank is 250k.
That was the amount I strove to obtain before I even considered spending.

I consider myself as "poor" whenever my neopoints on hand drop below 2mil... I make a LOT of investments and do tons of testing for various things, such as my stat increaser thread, as such my neopoints fluctuate quite a bit and the if I drop below 2mil I just stop investing/spending until it has risen to the 3-4mil mark.


EDIT: I also bank 500k anytime I hit 2.5mil so I don't tend to run low but it still happens from time to time.

I have never had over 2m in my entire life. I would consider striving for about 10-20m, even that would make me happy. I'm almost at my 2m goal but it's taking a while.
I'm poor when I'm under 500k. My dream in Neopets was to be able to buy a a coloured paintbrush for my pet without having to go completely broke.

I'd consider myself poor if I had less than 10m in pure (which is coming up as soon as I buy a new BGC) however I keep about 5m on side accounts as a 'booster' on the off chance I ever get frozen so I can easily rebuild quickly. With the economy of Neopets today, I would say that 50-100m is probably an 'average' sort of figure, especially if you take into consideration the value of items held by most accounts. Quite a number of people have less than 100m in pure, but they have 100-200m in BD or Avatar items instead.

My problem is that I give NP away just as fast as I earn it, so it does make it a little harder for me to 'save up' so to speak. I have had to curb my spending for now (hence why there was no Custom Contest for this month, along with the fact I couldn't think of a theme) as I need to save my extra NP to rebuy my scammed BGC.

I'm feeling 'ok' when I'm in the 10m range (when I still have about 3mil in trades, 2mil in my shop and probably another 5mil of things sitting in my SDB), whn my cash on hand drops below 5m I get a bit edgy and stop buying.

But seriously, i would say 10m would be the threshold i consider as being poor (any less than that doesnt compute with me)

For me, it's 5mil. I play legitimately, so it takes me quite a while to earn that much, however I also have a lot of goals....and accomplishing goals isn't cheap on Neopets I have around 18mil saved up right now, which I earned from playing lots of KQ, stocks, auction sniping and SSW sniping. I haven't really been playing much these past few weeks though.

Excluding the millions of investments, BD weapons, and stamps/collectable cards, I feel poor when I have less than 10m pure in bank and on-hand in total. I feel more comfortable with at least 50m to auction snipe. Whenever I get below 5m, I feel like a poor, depressed, desperate for attention ACer.

i'm surprised people have less than 5mill on this site (not saying that in a smite way at all)
but with Abrosia alone, even without advanced, i can very easily make 100k/day

I'd say 3m is poor for me, I have problems saving though, every time I start doing well I gift a few millions.
I have about 25m invested in my bd set though, that's what's keeping me from spending it !

Normally I try an keep above at least 1-2m, and at one point I did have about 10m..I don't AB though :3

I feel VERY poor, even with 20 mil under my belt. I think that there are 6 set values/groups for me, or this is how I judge people at least:

• Poor, anything less than 30 mil.
• Alright, anything around 100 mil.
• Good, anything around 900 mil.
• Sweet, anything around 9000 mil.
• Rich, anything around 90,000 mil.
• OMF rich, 1billion. (1million million, for those that view a billion as 1 thousand million.)
