"Those who count on quote 'Hollywood' for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who's going to stand up for them when their job is at stake. Don't ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don't pay any attention to me when my job is at stake," This is an open admission of bribery and a threat designed to provoke a specific policy goal. This is a brazen flouting of the "above the law" status people of Dodd's position and wealth enjoy.

Maybe if we get them arrested, the will stop pushing retarded legislation's through congress.

You wish. If they bribed politicians, what's to stop them bribing the judicial system?

Most likely nothing will ever come of it. But at least its attempting to do something then do nothing at all.

As distressing as this looks, it isn't a blatantly stated bribery. It isn't illegal so far as that it was not a specific request to buy a vote rather it's part of lobbying (e.g. saying you will support some candidates because they share your viewpoint).

definitely useful to deal a blow back to the biggest bullies on the block

on a related note: did anyone follow how circular the logic is for Kim Dotcom's accusations?

he is money laundering because he sold premium accounts that were used for file piracy but he did remove illegal files as requested and he is guilty of file piracy b/c money laundering
