I'm sure some of you have come across the infamous website www.isanyoneup.com. For those of you who haven't, be careful; it is NSFW.

People submit their friend's, ex girlfriend's, ex boyfriend's, or enemy's nudes. A way to make sure there is an continuous flow of breasts coming in, they created an incentive. Any woman who shows her tits on that website will receive a free site shirt.

Now there has been some media coverage about this website including the Anderson Cooper show where the site host, Hunter Moore, came in to talk about his website. He claimed that he doesn't feel at fault for these pictures because "no one put a gun to your head and made you take these pictures."

The people that have not ended up on that website could care less, because they get to look at people's nudes all day. For those who end up on that website, it is rather unfortunate. I personally don't have a massive problem with it, but it is kind of low of someone to do.

I think that submitting nudes of someone else without their consent is reprehensible. It's just like when a couple breaks up and one of them forwards cellphone photos of the others' naughty bits to all their friends. It is widely accepted as the norm but still morally wrong in my opinion.

If someone wants to submit their own nudes, I don't see a problem with that.

I think that sharing one's self with your significant other is not something to be taken lightly.
A lot of people have to overcome body image issues to be intimate with someone and do it out of love (or they're horny).

I don't think this site is in the right (morally speaking).
However, if the girl/guy is a major slutbag then go ahead

Haha I go on this site waiting for someone I know to be get leaked. Honestly, yes it's a dick move, but I have known for years to never send or even take nudes of self cause this seems to happen way too often. I barely even have shirtless pictures and I try to keep my online life professional for the most part. Iunno, maybe it's this mind set that makes me think they deserve it to an extent.

Using this as revenge really shows what kind of character you have. Especially when we live in a day and age where if you have a picture of you at a house party you could potentially have your teaching license revoked. Its only a matter of time before something really drastic happens there. Be it within the law, or out of it.

I don't think anyone's nudes should be placed anywhere where others can see them, unless they specifically request it or do it themselves, and even if they request it, there should be something legal proving it. Holy shit, those people even put names in there. Celebrities can take legal action to prevent photos being leaked to the media, and even sue for damages if they want. So why is it ok for this website to exist, when many participants may never have given their consent? It's completely immoral. And it ought to be illegal. Who knows how many people have seen themselves splashed out with their name and face on that site, and have possibly killed themselves? The guy enabling this shit should be arrested.

Moral of the story: Never take nudes for anyyyyyyyyone.

I agree that posting naked pictures of your ex should have some serious moral issues arise, but you do have to wonder what got that ex there in the first place. I've seen people do far worse to their significant other for cheating that surpass this website's initiative. Personally, I will still send my love interest pictures of me if they desire it because I really have no shame in the matter. I did a two year contract with Suicide Girls before I realized they were the spawn of the devil that held absolute claim over your image. So I'm sure several hundred skeeze-bags have access to pictures of me. Basically I'm perfectly okay with everyone knowing what I look like naked. And really, in my opinion, it makes me wonder if we rage against this because it's a moral issue or if we rage about it because women have been so traditionally raised to be ashamed and' virtuous' with their own bodies.

Yeah, in my opinion I think I would feel better about the website if names weren't included. Many of these people posted on the website receive daily hate mail (if people consider them unattractive) or booty calls (if they are deemed worthy enough.)



The sad part is theres pictures of people who put tattoo's on their body of the websites logo. :|

People shouldn't be taking nude pictures of themselves naked for their partners anyways, if you can show your naked body to your partner, then do it in person, at least the only picture left behind is a mental one and not physical.

Technically, they're not physical pictures - they're virtual. No one is scanning their old Polaroids, AFAIK.

I agree with Ladida almost completely. I personally don't take nude photos of myself, but it's not because I don't love my body, that choice is mainly because of shit like this.

It is a moral issue if people are sending in naked pictures of people without their consent. Our bodies are our own. If I decide to take a glamorous photo of my buttcheeks spread and my unshaven twat and send it to my boyfriend, then I'm sharing it with HIM, not with the entire fucking internet. The fact that people are requesting their pictures be taken down, and the owner of the site mocking them further is just fucking disgusting. It's not harmless, it's the worst sort of cyber bullying I've ever seen, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone killed themself because of this.

This, not so much. Hell, you could photoshop people's faces onto shitty, grainy amateur photos from /b/ and the people on this site wouldn't know the difference. Wouldn't stop the incident from ruining someone's career when an employer googles their employee's name.

Honestly. I think its a more important lesson in trust. People need to learn that there are assholes in the world, who will screw them over. They need to learn that they shouldn't trust the people that they supposedly love. Its how they grow up and stop dating assholes.

Yeah yeah, technicalities, but they can print off the pictures if they so choose to because it's on the computer/camera.

I'd like to see a mass produced printer that plugs into your brain and prints off your thoughts, then mental images will be a bad thing.
