I put a stamp on trading post and immediately there was an offer
(the amount is what I asked for)
but the account looked suspicious
7 year account
but no avatar, no stamp,no trophies, pets had low level

I rejected the offer in fear that I might get frozen.

I would like to know what should I do next time if the same thing happens  ?

Can they really freeze you for accepting a bid from an illegit account?
I thought they'd get rid of the item at the most, or in your case of the neopoints :S
Either way, I would have accepted.

There was a case on the AC where someone was gifting Nerkmids. One kid got one, sold it, and then used the nps, and then got frozen. The others who sold the Nerkmids has the nps deducted. I don't know what happened to the people who used the Nerkmid. I'm guessing they would have been frozen. Apparently TNT doesn't give a fuck about players who unwittingly accept tainted items or nps, it's a one way trip to Iceland if they can't simply rid your account of the taint.

I would be more worried about how much you're asking since someone jumped at the price.

I know right?! TNT should really fix that thing up... Or at least make it easier to get your account back! D: Wow you got a pixel that may or may not be legit who cares, you shouldn't get your hard work taken away from you just for that.....
It really sucks when you wait a couple of months for TNT to reply to your ticket only to get called a scammer and to fuck off/start over again.
    Arghgfjhfk so dumb /frustrate

    heh heh you said taint

Anyway I don't check accounts before accepting/rejecting unless it's a stupid noob offer or they're obviosly trying to scam me. Then I only look at their account on my way to the "block" page

Preeeetty sure even TNT have better things to do than do a background check on items like that. That's precious time they could be using to concoct some disastrous new event like Tarla's Tour.

Yup a low value item like that wont raise many flags. It becomes fishy when you're dealing in millions of nps...
