This is a terrible test of typing.

Typing words that do not relate to each other significantly slows down anyone's typing pace, as they have longer time to process what they are reading then if it logically followed in a sentence.

Was your score a single digit?

To be fair, it doesn't matter whether they relate to one another though - you would still have to process something for pretty much the same amount of time, regardless of whether it makes sense or not. For example, you're writing a letter: what's faster, putting a lot of content into it and structuring it coherently, or just putting any words you feel like down?
