I know two other people who played neopets and at least 10 people who used to play. Sadly, the two I know who currently play neopets, play legitimately. Such a tragedy.

When we're together talking about neopets in public, there is always a random straggler who joins in the conversation and pridefully stated that they used to play.

I actually only add neofriends if I actually know the person in RL. Same as my Facebook I don't just add randoms.

Do Codex friends count, or just people we have actually met in person? I am Neofriends with several people I have never physically met, but whom I talk to every day outside of Neo and consider them some of my closest friends.

I'm pretty glad about that too; if anyone knew I played Neopets my reputation would be out the window. Whenever Neopets pops into a conversation it's pretty awkward but I just claim I have no idea what it is.
