I made a topic about this game a long time ago....before it died after being online for around a month. It is online again now as a free to play game and was added to steam a couple of months ago. Anyone play?

This is a trailer made for the game when it came put of open beta. It's not a bad advertisement for the game considering the company running it now are a bunch of retards.



This is some footage of me playing using the OSMAW (rocket launcher) in my trolling outfit. Apologies for the endless benny hill music but I'm not very creative....and it kind of fits the mood of the video.

I looked up some gameplay, I'm kind of confused as to what it actually is

I started playing a few months ago, really enjoy it actually.

Takes some getting used to, especially if you've not played games similar to it.
Only downfall is the Marketplace IMO, seems like people just buy awesome weapons and they suck at being on a team or just kill you in order to "pwn" the entire mission.

It's basically like GTA but MMO. I actually enjoy playing it, but when the same people keep one-shot'ing you because they bought some $40 gun and all you have is a crappy gun from quests.....it can get frustrating Lol

Apparently there's quite a few cheating programs out there but they've apparently also done a good job at combating them. It detects them and shuts down the game, even gives a warning that they will disable your account if you use it again. Lol

Yeah it was plagued by cheaters at one point. They have done a fairly decent job of keeping on top of the cheating but they always come back, usually in waves. They don't last long these days though. The main problem at the moment is macros on semi automatic rifles.....and there are rumours of trigger bots as well.

Cash shop weapons are not pay to win according to the developers but some of them have advantages to them that you can't get unless you pay for them.....so I don't see how that is not pay to win. For example the ACT .44 has hunting sight (weapon modification) on it which you cannot earn yourself because secondary weapons are not moddable.

The game is essentially cops and robbers and it plays like GTA. You can choose to be an Enforcer, who are technically the good guys but are essentially vigilantes or you can be a criminal. The game is very bias towards criminals though.

But then I realized it was fun and my friends and I have a blast driving around in vehicles like this:

Though getting matched up with Pay2win kiddies and people with better guns gets really annoying when you can't do much against them in a firefight.

Even if it does, it'll lag it like hell, even my computer which is high above the required settings will lag because of how badly made the game is.

In a firefight? Enjoy 2 FPS as you get killed! Driving a car? Nope, have fun lagging into a wall!

Not true for everyone. I can run the game flawlessly. Are you running 32 bit windows?

Nope, 64 bit, and it lags for everyone I know that plays, regardless of their system specs.

As you can tell from the video I made the game runs perfectly. I had to turn the graphics down because of the recording software but otherwise I play on max settings without a problem. The games optimization is awful but if you are running 64 bit windows there shouldn't be any problems.

The client will freeze up from time to time, especially with a lot going on the screen, but this is the only game that I've played that will actually do that on my computer.

Weird....have you tried asking around the forums for help?

Valentines event starts today amd it sounds pretty cool. To take part you have to use certain weapons so there won't be many pay to win weapons being used for the next ten days .

I hated the original, too many hackers. Also, the game encourages you to be dicks to people. You can just keep on pushing people with cars.

I thought that there would be more people that play it not that is it on Steam. I guess Codex is not the right audience for a game like APB though .

I love it when I'm casually driving around on my Pioneer and see someone stood next to their own car . I just use my nitro and ram my car into their car which in turn hits them and makes them deaded. Love it.

There was a guy stealing a car, so I drove up and hit it and it killed him. Confused the hell out of me that it actually worked, but it was funny.

The best though is when you casually crash into people and flip their vehicle and it ends up getting them killed or failing their mission, oh man the amounts of mad in the district chat.
