Yeah, looks like they probably screwed something up again with the configuration.
We should probably have some kind of contingency in place for this kind of thing.
I tried talking pyro into using a cached login system like windows does when in a domain, but he didn't go for it
After you login once, you can login up to three times without contacting the server (if its down) before you have to login again. Windows does 5, but I think thats excessive. Things shouldn't be down for that long ever

You're on strike.
I wouldn't have an issue fixing this . Pryo was always a wonderful programmer (Certainly better then me), but not so good at debugging

(this will sound confusing if you dont know what im talking about so please ignore this if you are technically-declined)
The Django server process is running, but the "bad_httpd_conf" is an apache related error and we do not use apache, we use ngnix. So there are some conflicts that are coming up with a configuration file and i am not sure how everything has been configured in the back end and will have to wait for Hydro or Shadow to come online (as soul has already stated).
I'm hoping that i can get things up and running by tonight
~Cody
So just stop apache and start django. I'm willing to bet the server was rebooted and Apache is scheduled to run on startup.
As for you securing the program - no matter how secure you try to make it, if you rely on a 3rd party server for authentication it can always be cracked. Rather than having a local authentication as a failsafe (iargue's suggestion, sounds even easier to crack), you should try to connect to a backup server if the primary failed.

It ends on February 24th, but you know how people are bitches and complain unless everything works exactly how they want it to...
only, sweeney: I understand you may dislike him, but there's no need to make this thread about him...

ITT: iargue makes a futile attempt to ingratiate himself with the new administration.
Actually, I don't want back in at all. I just want the program manager back up again.
