POPULAR POST!

Hi everyone,

We've finally migrated to the new host and brought the forum back up!

We're still working on restoring the site as you can see. Sadly, the program manager is still not working, but we will slowly get our services back up in the next couple days or so. The forum was a big priority for us to get back up, so that the line of communication with our member base didn't have to suffer any more than it already has.

Keep reading the announcements area for more updates, and sorry once again for the delay in getting our services up.

EDIT: Yes, the avatars and uploads are broken. I will fix that tomorrow. Don't save another avatar until then, because it will disappear tomorrow. ;)

EDIT2: Until we sort out how much resources we think the site will need, I set a server load limit on the site. We ran a bunch of stuff today and I think Amazon is limiting our CPU for a bit, so stop refreshing a shitload and the site will be usable. :D (this is only temporary)

Thank you so much for working so hard on restoring our site, thank you to our hardworking staff that have gone above and beyond to restore the site to where we can use it with this host move, and a special thanks to all of our community members who were patient and understanding with our amazing staff by sticking together and showing that we are a community that isn't going to just fall apart because of host issues.

+Rep isn't strong enough to express the gratitude felt for each and every one of you. Thank you so much!

We always compensate subscribers for significant periods of downtime. I thought people would have already realised that by now. O_o

I have a question. Besides the downtime, my program manager ran fine. However, it crashed yesterday and upon trying to load it up again I get an error that directs me to the logfile which says:

Spoiler

Should I reinstall the program manager?

Wall of text is unnecessary.

We just upgraded to a large Amazon instance, so the site should be lightning fast now. :p

We're going to try downgrading to small (the tier between the shit we had before, and this "large"). We'll see what happens. :p

It's not letting us choose a small instance for some reason. I think a small would suit us just fine. Right now we have 7.5 GB of memory, and 4 CPUs. Insane amount of power, haha.

Well for the past couple of days, the program manager would run fine but when you tried to log in you would get an error. I thought he was referencing that. My program manager wont even start up.

Oh and thank you to the mod who editted my post. I couldn't figure out how to spoil that long text. Posted Image
