I'd probably just use it on a buzz to get the avatar.
Explain?

Better to trade it for a pet that you want. You could get a BD pet or a UC. I used mine on a pea chia that was named squashedpea, but then I got banned. -_-"
Can you also explain lol... How do I trade a faerie quest?

If you post on the adoption board you can make a custom name/species/colored pet with your FFQ and trade that pet for another pet.

That sounds risky... especially if its bannable.

Regarding the avatar, if you paint a buzz any colour, you get the "Buzzin" avatar. From TDN avatars: Paint your Buzz any colour at the Rainbow Fountain after completing a Fountain Faerie quest. This avatar is limited to FFQ only and doesn't work via paint brushes.Explain?
You can also get the avatar and do a "custom buzz" trade with someone who wants a buzz painted, so you can get trade offers for other pets too.

It's not bannable, there are many people who trades "Custom FFQ for......" in the pound chat boards.
Not sure about the best value if you want to sell the pets, but personally I'd take the avatar because I don't have it - and that faerie is taking a forever vacation somewhere out of her fountain in my account.

If you're looking at the current PC climate, FFQs are normally going for draiks. Cause of the deflation, you probably need a draik morph/PDE custom + FFQ to get into the good UC range. The lower end UCs (mutants) are going for PDE customs.
PDE? You're going to have to spell things out for me.

Is this on a main or a shell? if it's a shell you could just sell off the shell
It's my only account, so main.

I'd go for the avatar, but it depends on whether you have a pet in mind or whether you collect avatars. I don't believe FFQs are worth that great a sum on their own these days.
Like I've said, I just don't care about avatars.

If you do though, Wraith, Plushie, Eventide, Water, Zombie and Maraquan are pretty expensive and people like them, so it shouldn't be toooo hard to trade if the pet has a nice name~ Don't forget that FFQs don't expire! So if you go with, say, Wraith or Eventide, it might be a good idea to hold onto that for a while and wait for more pets to become available in those colours!
Well actually I'm not all that sure about Zombie or Eventide when it comes to popularity, but they are expensive for a normal player, not to mention Eventide is still extremely new >w>
