At level 50, the purple gems appear every 1000 exp earned. When you do the spam-clicking right, you see the +500NP overlapped on itself several times. Honestly, it seems like you should be getting a lot more than just 2-3k from one gem simply from the number of times it appears, but it does add up. I do know it works because I normally get 30-something k in the morning after running it all night, but have been getting 50-something k in the morning with the spam-clicking.

I have no idea why the red exp gems don't do it as well, but maybe it's because those can actually stack on the screen while the purple gems can't.

Hmmmm, I'm not entirely convinced... but hopeful!

Have you tried spam clicking one of them, then checking your NP in another window before/after? Or does it not work like that- meaning, does there have to be lots of eggs on the screen in order to lag enough to glitch the game into giving you more... wheras just having 1 on the screen won't lag it enough?

I have checked it that way :) Earlier today, I pulled it off on one and checked. There was an increase of 1k NP instead of the 500.

It's honestly easier to pull it off when there's lots of movement trying to go on and it's lagging terribly, but it's possible to pull it off when there's only one gem on the screen. It's totally a combination of luck and how fast you can click.

Good job on the guide and thanks for the spam click tip!! I just tested it. I spam clicked 2 gems and got 2k instead of 1k! Hehe. To think that I've had my habitarium at level 50 for over a year and never knew that!

"Inside Habi, your first step is to block off all of your storages. p3's running back and forth is a waste of your valuable time, whether you're watching them or not. Supplies still go in storage, whether they can get to them or not."

I believe the p3s' harvesting time is fixed. Let's say each harvest takes 30s (I can't remember the exact figure). So from one harvest to another, it will take 30s regardless of whether the p3s are walking about or not.

This is what I observed of my p3s which are furthest from the storage buildings:

If they have yet to finish their walk back from the storage to their resource and the 30s is up, a new unit of resource will appear on their backs and they'll go to the storage again.

That said, it's still a very good idea to have the storages blocked off. It didn't reduce lag for me, but it did make things a lot less messy. It's much easier to grab hold of p3s if they're staying around the same spot so you can chuck them into the houses to recuperate, especially if you have 39 little buggers running around.

Also, decorations tend to contribute to lag, especially if you're using a laggy computer (like my old one). If you have a crappy computer, you'd want to consider having as little decorations as possible. Don't have any unnecessary buildings out.

Just a quick question.... I've been trying to read and see if i find the answer anywhere but i cant. Alright do the purple gems that pay you appear only once you have reached level 50? Because my habbi is level 21 right now and I have yet to see a single purple gem. The only time I see them is when I come back after I have not played in a while and a purple gem replaces every one of my P3's that died.

Those which you have seen aren't purple gems. You get purple gems only when you are level 50. Probably uou saw the diamonds that yields exp, they appear when your P3s die.

Short answer:
Yes

Longer answer:
You receive a purple gem whenever your purple status/exp bar gets filled, and since your status bar only turns purple when you reach level 50, you can only get purple gems when you're level 50 o:

Like your guide! I just got my Habi up to lvl 50 and want to try spam-clicking the gems.

I thought about it, and I think I did that with red gems from attacks and it worked for me. Either that or two buggers died in the same place.
