Win 7 Normal Mode won't start, will go past Starting up Screen and just hit a Black screen and will hit a Crash Dump (blue error screen)..... I can boot into safe mode fine and I have fun CHKSDK and after a reboot it fixed a few problems but I hit the same Crash Dump Screen. I have also made sure my whole pc is all clean and connected, no corroding parts etc etc, made sure my pci-e slot is default etc etc, no luck at all...

Its a new installation and worked fine last night and early this morning after separate boots. But as soon as I booted this afternoon it wouldn't load and would hit the blue error crash dump screen....

So any suggestions?

Just last night My main HDD died also which is why I had to use my secondary HDD as my main....

=\

Check what the error message means when it gives you it?

It never stays on screen long enough for me to even read the error ._.

Ooh, I had a similar problem when I tried using the hard drive (which connects via IDE) from my old old XP computer in my new one in attempt to make it at least boot so I could install Win 7 :o But all it did was boot, flash a BSOD screen, restart, then back to step one and repeated that until I turned it off. It managed to detect my laptop's HDD (SATA) though, so that might be your problem? Maybe? It might just be that the HDD doesn't like the computer/other hardware in your comp.

All I can say is try formatting the one you're trying to boot from and reinstall your OS of choice again, or try a different drive >w>

Have you made sure that your video drivers are up to date?
Or have you tried using onboard video instead of your video card?

Run safemode with networking. Download ComboFix from BleepingComputer. Put it on a flash drive. Run combo fix from flash drive.

If, after that you can't boot into Windows normally, re-install. GLHF

Made you a sammich even though I can't see what that picture is~

Magha - Since you said the bluescreen flashes by too fast for you to see it

Right click on My Computer
Go to Properties
Advanced Settings
Click Settings in Startup and Recovery
Uncheck "Automatically Restart"
ok - ok

Then boot in normal mode and tell us what your error is for crying out loud
The list of possible things that could cause this to happen is too long to keep throwing out possible answers

I recommend you dont use combofix on your own. Just post on bleepingcomputer and they'll tell you how to use combofix with the right settings personalized to your needs.

Or much much easily.

When you turn the computer on. REprestedly press f8. Then select "Disable Automatic restart on system failure"

Then post the Stop Code. It will look like this. 0x000000xxx
