Idle note--you can take damage with the amulet, and he has a Moehog Skull, so there is still a chance he'll stomp you flat anyway. Just not a very good one.

You don't have to use the amulet, equiping it is enough. You can use other weapons, or not even use anything. I just select a random attack stand without clicking any weapons and still damage it 20k+, and recieve 0 damage.
