So im new to ABing, anyways my ABer has been running for about 45 minutes and has only attempted to buy 1 item. Although it successfully bought it, shouldn't it be attempting more?

Also, do you guys target multiple shops or do you just target one? i have a list of 4 going right now

I read that wrong.
you could try lowering your general wait delay time so that it would have a higher chance of refreashing when the shops restocks

No, abrosia uses the database.
I think this is nice guide:

That is a nice guide, but it says to "clear" shops before you AB it. I've been looking at a lot of the shops and most of them seem to have 3 or 4 rows of items filled already. Do people actually "clear" their shops before ABing? Should i be doing that?

Could you give me 1 shop that is a good place to start? I was doing neopian fresh foods which seemed alright but its pretty full with items

If a shop has 24 items in it then it is not going to restock, manually clearing a shop opens up the ability of that shop to restock items again.

So if a shop has 22 items in stock then it is going to restock at max 2 items, only 1 of those may even possibly reach your minimum settings that prompts a buy/miss scenario.

I've been missing stuff all day too: http://i.imgur.com/qMoUD.jpg

There are good days and bad days when it comes to ABing.

I wouldn't recommend RSing in high risk areas such as the Magic Shop / Stamp Shop.

Book Shop is okay, I think. I just use the lists provided by NeoCodex.

Everyone saying that Stamps and Magic are "high" risk are not taking into account that there are normally 15+ people in these locations with only 1 or 2 in other locations... it's not taking into account the fact that everyone is having the same risk even restocking in any given shop. So don't recommend not using a "high risk area" because the risk is the same everywhere. The real difference being the quantity of people in those two shops (since that is where the fastest neopoints are made) and the people in "low risk" shops getting iced even reporting that they were and which shops they restock in.

On a side note... this is my 1,000th post. O_o

Heh. Aright.

I don't AB at those shops mainly because TNT monitors those shops more.

Out of curiosity, how much do you guys make a day if you AB for 5 hours? And would you recommend the bakery or fresh foods?

I'd love to see actual proof of this.

Haha. I guess its a bad day for all of us.

It's just a rumour going around right now. I just want to play safe and therefore, I don't ab in those shops.

I've been restocking in the stamp shop for 2 weeks straight at 2 hours at a time 2-3 times a day. I would say I miss about 75% of the items that restock, but I still make a profit and well over what i'd make manually restocking :p.

I like to toe the line because I really don't want to get frozen so I AB around 2-3 hours a day and make probably around 200k. Some days it's more because I snag a UB but they are often very hard to sell so I prefer the buy-able stuff I can just stick in my shop :D

It is very risky to ab on different accounts on the same IP.
If you are using a proxy then it isn't too risky. 4 hours (not at one shot) is a pretty decent time :)
