Has anyone here had issues with Medical insurance? Such as, they try to find ways not to pay by either dropping you or making some other claim.

I am writing a research paper on the reliability and moralities of insurance companies and would like a few individuals that wouldn't mind being interviewed and possibly quoted.

Might be worth talking about. I'll get back to you, when I get home.

I am in the U.S, however it extends to medical insurance as a whole. If you had issues with your country's medical, then I'll gladly use it as a comparison.

When I pregnant, the insurance company gave us the run around.

Before I gave birth, we called them and they said that because I was still my moms dependent, that my daughter would be covered as well.

HAHAHNO.

We paid the 3000+ hospital bill ourselves after some haggling with the hospital and ended up getting her an individual plan for 400$ a month.

Which didnt even cover an ER visit when she was really sick the night before easter with a 106+ fever. Still havent gotten around to paying that 1600 bill.

Haha, how about refusing to put someone on their husbands insurance plan because they don't have a Green card...

I'm not entirely sure about this post.

Are you a legal citizen, and they wanted you to have a green card? That's the only way you could be legally married in the US and not have a green card....

There was a documentary by Moore that talks about this, I thought it was a pretty well made documentary, there are interviews and stuff in there:

I have a story about getting screwed out of the appropriate short term disability amount two years in a row. Not sure if you're interested in that type of claim though? Happy to share if so.

Depends if that disability is covered by your medical or through another source.
