I didn't see a autohotkey guide posted here, and I made this guide for another site 3 years ago before I quit neo and I still had the file on my computer and thought I would post it here :)

Anyway here's the guide:

Well, this is a guide about Autohotkey. Autohotkey is basically a downloadable program which lets you have haggles built right into letter hotkeys.

For example, I am restocking, and I see an decent item,I get to the haggle page, and the item costs 33,552 nps, autohotkey would allow me to already have a haggle set in place. So i would press "z" and get an instant haggle of 35353. I then click the pet and am done. I used this to restock legit and it was very useful. It saved the time i would need to haggle, and you can never misshaggle.

You need to download this program at
http://www.autohotkey.com/.
Then you will need to write a script,
for example:
c::
Send 90909
return

This means when I hit the key c, a preset haggle of 90909 is already entered in for me.

If you need more help with this or arent understanding, please PM me.

This is cool, never heard about it before. I still think I'll use abrosia for most of my illgeit rsing needs (I am lazy :p ) but this is good stuff to know.

LOL yea that's true my bad, I guess I meant, people who want RS illegit without using an autobuyer so TNT can't catch them :p

I do believe this is undetectable by TNT so its much safer than ABing as the human completes all the steps themselves with a built in haggle.

You'd be better off just using a greasemonkey autohaggle script. ;)

Hehe, I have an auto hot key that does my dailies for me that my husband wrote up :)
It opens my browser and then goes through a series of links and clicks, takes about 5mins to run through ^_^

I have some batch files that do that.

Never thought about using hot keys, pretty clever. How effective is this as an illegit restocking strategy?

So, you have to set up a different hotkey for every haggle amount? It's an interesting idea but it sounds like it would be more trouble than it is worth to remember what amounts linked to which keys.

I would do it so QWERTY had the prices in incremental amounts.

Q - 999
W - 1414
E - 2525
R - 3232
T - 4545
Y - 5656

ECT.... then you have a nice increasing progression to follow.

Or just use an autohaggle script which would handle all that without having to do anything at all?

The auto haggle scripts I've found lag when entering the amount. I'd faster enter my own price than let them do it from what I've seen. There may be faster GM scripts but I've not found them.

Mine was set as

9898, 15151, 24242, 36363, 45454, 55656, 87878, 123123

All these were for magic. You can basically cover every morphing potion with it.

The key is remembering each one, so I ordered it in increasing order, but once you use it you remember which key is which by second nature trust me.

I combined this with Adblock, and found it to be very effective, as its pretty much undetectable illegit RSing which should net you a lot of items if done correctly.

I used to do this before I found autohaggle scripts!
I set mine as 2444 and 4888 and 9888 just for the 2.5k, 5k, 10k items which I usually went for :o
I even made a program just to practice pressing the buttons because I'm a loser like that.

I have never heard of this method before either, but I have heard of autohotkey. However, is this really efficient since you need to have a set price? What if the item you have not hotkeyed pops up?
