In traditional longhouse culture, at least in the manner that my kin and clan view history from the lens of the 21st century, unto women was given the fire, the fire of creation. In this, is the divine, because they like the Creator are the only ones that can bring life into the world. In the fire of women, is the promise of time that shall not end.Oh, I like this idea quite a bit. And not just because there's a free toy involved for the lady (though that is an awesome bonus.).
It gives me the impression that there are actually cultures out there that exist in which women's sexuality isn't considered to be like some kind of monster that can never be let out or spoken of.
Since a husband lives at the pleasure of his wife, the wedding knife is a real thing and has been used in recent years to remove a bad and lazy husband (ok, drunken), it really is an important skill for a young man to learn to make sure his life is safe.
Sadly, it was an error I made in my life, thinking that simply being able to "please" in the dance of taste and touch was enough. It isn't.
In my wilding days the divorce, I mainly was with euro-american women, most had been divorced or abandoned, most had as much "to prove" as I did. Your observation of female desire was a very common discussion, I find the dominant cultures view on this issue just strange, just as I found so many so easy to impress with my skills. If it is any comfort to you, some boys slowly learn that women are more than images in the electronic darkness, or a homica of certain acts. Even some Euroamericans slowly learn that a woman is the sum of her spirit, desire, mind and skill, and learns to cherish them as she deserves. Trust me, some do.
BTW, this is really only true of "Eastern Woodlands" cultures, you say the wrong thing to a Dine woman and they're male relatives will hunt you down.
