Not really an estrogen/women's issue, but I figured I could still post it here since it's a medical thing.
Warning, it's still kind of gross, and I'm kind of embarrassed about it

Emily. You're in England now.
Going to the doctor is free. There's no reason not to go.
Especially for a fucked up nail. Yeeuch.

She paid the healthcare surcharge when she applied for her visa, I believe.
The title of this thread feels odd given that Mishatu hasn't been online for over 2 years apparently...

Oh, I didn't know anyone replied. Oops.
Yeah, I registered at a Drs office here. I just have to figure out where it is. It looks and feels better now. It will just feel bruised occasionally. It's odd. I googled it and it told me it could be melanoma under the toe so I was like ok, never googling for medical reasons again.
I also did pay the health surcharge when I applied for the visa. Don't know how it works though... but right now I only have a little bit of cash because HSBC is being slow as fuck opening an account for me. So if it does cost money I won't have much to pay with. Have to wait for my account so I can deposit my check and use that.

ESTROGEN!!! PERIODS!!! BLOOD!! CRAMPS!! BABIES!!!
Ladies.. I'm meeting with a gyno next month since my doctor's office doesn't do these...
But implanon or IUD? I don't want kids for at least 3-5 years so either option is in my favor since I am horrible at taking pills. Anyone have experience with either? Yes I've hear all the horror stories of both, but if you've had either the implant or iud, I'd like your thoughts? I'm too lazy to go back 35+ pages even though I know this has been discussed before.

I'm sorry.
I thought I had this but I'm still not even sure what it was because it was only during one month. Maybe a ruptured cyst or a fibroid. I thought I was dying (not kidding, it was that bad), haha being a woman is fun.

Thank you, I was only recently diagnosed so I'm still coming to terms with it.
Cysts are nasty, I've had them too, even had one drained during my laparoscopy last month (the pain from that is nowhere near as bad as one bursting though).
I see my gyne in 2 days to find out more of what went on during the during the surgery and what happens next so that should be interesting. Luckily I've already had kids so I don't have to worry about future fertility lol

I got my iud today... the process wasn't nearly as bad as I thought, 5 minute procedure, 15 seconds of slight pain/uncomfortableness... but now it's been 3 hours later and they warned me that I would have cramps for the first few days.. and they have started. But I am soooo looking forward to not having to deal with my monthly friend after this.

Your ovaries have forgotten about swollen feet, morning sickness, the smell of coffee becoming disgusting? Little feet tap dancing on your bladder, hemorrhoids and varicose veins?
Posted 11 March 2018 - 01:52 PM
I don't get most of that, or if I do, it's insignificant compared to everything else.Your ovaries have forgotten about swollen feet, morning sickness, the smell of coffee becoming disgusting? Little feet tap dancing on your bladder, hemorrhoids and varicose veins?

My hormones are going nuts, I've been bleeding every day since March 1st thanks to this IUD I had to get inserted. I'm starving. I haven't smoked since Dec 31 but I want one really bad.

Yay, my period is due any day now! And then I can get my blood tested to find out why my cycles are so looong, and why I get hot flashes. Just give me estrogen cream already, thanks.
