I know this is primarily a forum dedicated to Neopets, but in the past few months that I have been here I have seen many mentions of Runescape. I think a small section for RS that could consist of accounts, sales, botting, items, updates in general.

Edit: Or not necessarily Runescape section, but an "Other Games" for RS, Diablo, MapleStory, WoW, etc.

Problem is, i don't think anyone plays RS enough to write a prog about it.
This site is kind of centered around Neo.

I'm not saying start up a programming team to produce bots for it. There are plenty of those out there already, just discuss ones we have used, or ones that work well for making money on RS.

I just don't think there is enough of a RS community to create an entire section.

Yeah, I liked that idea better, and thought of it right when I posted the first one. I'll edit the thread title.

That's probably more a reflection on the standard of your suggestions than anything else.

I thought I saw someone suggest somewhere for a 'real life' or 'other' guides section... any chance of that? I'm totally a Neopitard, but I have ideas for other stuff.

The generals are already slow as it is, I don't think it would be a good idea. Maybe when the forums pick up a little?

Times have changed?
We have gotten an upgraded forum since then.

The generals are already slow as it is, I don't think it would be a good idea. Maybe when the forums pick up a little?

Maybe making another gaming section will make it pick-up?

Weird, considering the description reads: "Random chat. Anything that doesn't have it's own forum goes here, you can debate and talk about games/movies in here as well."

It doesn't specifically state a whole lot, but it still gives a good enough idea where to post about other games.

I think it merits it's own subsection in General Chat.
"games/movies" is inadequate.

Just how many threads on gaming do we have that continuously have discussions?

I'm not against anything, but unless there's more heated discussions and activity in the gaming area, I don't think we're going to give it a section post-haste.

I actually made this same suggestion long ago, and was told there isn't enough demand.

I agree with Sweeney, if people want to make threads about other games, I would suggest they go in the General Entertainment section. If the threads are quite successful that would give motivation to add a dedicated gaming section and the threads could be moved when/if that happens.

This site is kind of centered around Neo.

This just occurred to me. This site generally only feels like it revolves around Neopets to me when I scroll down or when I use the programs. I think I'd have more of a connection with the Neopian side of it if the forums page were set up differently.

For example:
Have the Announcements and Notices, Introductions, and FAQs in a section at the top, then have the Neopets section of boards, then put the rest of the boards under the Neopets section and above the Programming and Art sections.
