I think it would be a good idea to have a list in the Advanced Voting forum with the users and the dates they were voted in.
Mainly because I forget. All the posts become hidden, and there's no way for me to take a look back and see. These wouldn't have to have the percentage of votes, or a summary of all the shit we talked about the user before voting them in. Just Username and Date.

Well, I bought my advanced but I agree that it would be a nice feature. Just to see how long it took them from signup to be voted in or how long they've been advanced or something.

And also so someone doesn't make the mistake of making a poll for someone who was already voted in. I swear I keep wanting to make one for trizzle.

I think the number of posts would also be a nice addition~
Or we can just make a thread and have one person keep track and update everything.

 Aww shucks.

I think this is a great idea! How big will the list be? When did it change from having to get 500 posts to having to be voted in?

Also I also have a burning curiosity about what my voting thread looked like ;) But I understand why you hide those :p

I like this idea. One can never have enough lists!

That's odd, since it was what you suggested the first time this question was raised.

I'll do it.

Should we include people who have had unsuccessful votes so we will know when they can be nominated again?

When somebody has had an unsuccessful vote I believe we now leave them visible but closed until they can be voted on again.

Not in the least, I suggested a list such as this that all of the staff participate in up keeping. No one individual.

Then perhaps you weren't terribly clear at the time.

I was clear about it, I think we had the conversation in a status update?

Either way, I think it would still be a good collaborative effort.

Since we only promote one or two people a month, it's not a huge deal for one person to keep up with. Making a collaborative effort out of something this simple would be ... daft.

Are we also going to include recently reject nominations as well?

That is what warranted the original suggestion that was made regarding this.

Yes I know that's what we'd discussed, but since we already have a thread for approved members, it wouldn't be a huge deal to add recent rejections to it either.
Example:

d4lta Rejected: The beginning of time 00/00/0000

Just because we have a list of successful promotions (which are hidden upon the promotion of the member) doesn't mean we need a thread for unsuccessful ones (which will remain visible until the member is eligible for re-nomination). Plus when/if the member does eventually get promoted, seeing their name on the "rejected" list will ruin part of the reason for the secrecy of the process. People are not supposed to know when they have a failed nomination.
