Today, I won a Platinum Nerkmid.  The last time I played Neopets, Nerkmids were worth a small fortune - I was all happy at first.  Then I checked the prices (because it has been the best part of a year since I last played), and the prices have come waaaay down.  I made no profit today.  Ah well.

So I just totaled up his results and it basically confirmed what everyone knew, it's just a giant money sink. Had he not won the Mystery Island PB, he has a net result of -750k

I can see the point of the wheel for people with huge budgets, if you don't have a couple of million at least, I can't see the point. It's just a money sink for a avatar. There's no profit in it at all
