I was fussing around in the BD today with my strongest pet (180 HP, 60 Str, and 25 Def, level 10) and it's pretty cute, all this battledome stuff. I'd like to get more serious with it, not all the way to like the elite part of it, maybe just intermediate, enough so I can participate in wars... How did you all start off? Is there an auto trainer? I keep on forgetting to continue him. At what point will a pet be decent enough to handle most if not all the single player opponents?

Well, I believe that there is an auto-trainer in progress. For keeping track of training times though, make note of when the training started and set an alarm (like on a watch or something) for when it's supposed to end, that way you can put your pet back onto a course as soon as possible.

Though, your pets stats seem to be unbalanced. I'd train defense, but since no stat can go above twice your level (which is 10, and your highest stat is 180HP) you'll have to train the level of your pet first.

I have a pretty good starting point for people new at the Battledome to get started at:

http://www.neocodex....edome-tutoring/

Perhaps you should give that a read.

Excellent. Does training get super expensive after a while?

Cheers Yung.
I haven't seen that yet and the BD was what got me interested in neo to begin with but I've never put time/money into it :)

pets that have like 700 str, def, and hp, have usually invested over 100 mil into their pets, after a while stat increasers become more used because training takes a long time, and stat increasers can get expensive

Do people actually build for 2P? I mean, I'm only training my pet so I can actually get a fair amount of points in site events/wars.

I'd say once you get into the Secret Ninja Training School, it would be cheaper to use stat increasers, but until then codestones are cheaper.
