So surely there are some obscure board games that not many people have even heard about that you just love. Now is the time to share that with the rest of us so we can enjoy those as well!

This is a recent find of mine, it's the Pirates Dice game that they play on Davy Jones' ship on Pirates of the Caribbean. This game is a slight variation of the game Liar's Dice.

Really? :p I've actually only played it once. It's a little silly.
It's one of those Candy Land esque games. You land on spaces, draw a card, etc. Earn neopoints. xD

Munchkin is absurdly fun. Might not be too obscure, but I'd never heard of it until me and some people played for 6 hours straight last week. This game will destroy friendships.

So excited my first actual post here is about this game.

Cards Against Humanity is pretty much Apples to Apples for really terrible adults.

You should try "Baulderdash"

It's pretty neat.

You do what the cards tell you to do.

Lol, clearly. I meant what is the game about, what is the objective, how do you play, how do you win, ect?

No, seriously. The rules of the game change based on what cards are in play. That includes victory conditions.

Wow, okay see that sounds pretty cool then. I've always been a fan of card games that have multiple path victories possible. Like gathering the Exodia cards ;)

The rating system on that website is generally pretty accurate, though.

Still word of mouth is a better system, I'd rather find and play a game that is strongly recommended here than one that gets a decent rating there.

Boardgamegeek has many reviews of said games and most high ranked games have also video reviews if you're too lazy to read or prefer more visual approach.

Of course one single recommendation here could be much more valuable if you know the person has same taste as you.

Anyways, if you like social/bluffing/negotiation/deduction games and have 6-9 persons with you, I strongly recommend The Resistance.

Here are some positive video reviews about the game:
