I have offered to run the Codies several times in the last few months and the idea always gets shot down as a useless popularity contest.

I'd guess PMing would be the best way to avoid people influencing the decisions of others.

GFX members (if there are any left) make us some award banners. Usually we just change the colors and the month of the banners. Go Go Go!

Rename this the codies and make sure we get all the classic ones (Golden Spoon)

America holds democratic elections despite that fact I would be game in helping out if necessary. We should hold a gfx contest for the prize banners similar to the one which resulted in the usergroup tags being brought back.

I like this idea. This could be the first Codies, like redlion said earlier. Just not every month, I think. Maybe 2-3 months between Codies?

Every four months/three times a year would be easy to maintain. It doesn't seem like it will be a very big deal if they're conducted any more frequently than that.
