I built mine about 2 years ago and went with a Thermaltake Soprano Case.

It has enough room, bought a great fan of Newegg that moves a ton of air.
Although it could *probably* be a tiny bit larger on the inside and be perfect. Just because I'm OCD, not because it's actually too small or anything :p
Depending on the size of your graphics card really. That was my main frustration.

I love the case though, has really easy to install/remove drive bays.
Has places for 4 fans. 2 on the side, 1 front 1 back.
The fan I bought on newegg (really cheap but works GREAT) I'll be buying another for the front soon and maybe the sides.

Using the same ram that you have listed. Love it. ('cept mine is 2 2gb sticks sadly)

Currently RMA'ing my ASUS mobo. o_x

Welcome back btw ;D

I love Asus, but they cannot make monitors. Highly suggest switching to another manufacturer (LG and Samsung seem to be decent). The first Asus monitor died in about 4 months, the second had problems out of the box. I've been using an LG IPS recently and it's been going strong for over a year now (even with moving twice, once all the way across the country).

RAM is great.

Would suggest a Samsung HDD over a Western Digital. The Spinpoint is an excellent HD in my opinion.

Also, would go up a notch in the PSU. I bought a 650 in the beginning but decided to add a second GFX card a few months later to use SLI. Ended up shelling out another hundred or so to upgrade to a 850 to support the power hungry GPU's. If you really think you won't upgrade later, then leave it as is, but better safe than sorry :)

Other than that the rest seems good.

Supposedly AMD's 7000 series isn't very power hungry, I think a 650W could comfortable run crossfire 7870s easily
Any suggestions on how to shave off a few dollars here and there?

Thanks for the suggestions though, both of you. I appreciate it <3

A 650w psu is decent, but you might want to consider something a little more; I'm not too sure what to recommend since I haven't been in the loop for a while now. Though I can say that optical drives are getting outdated, as you see on many of the new ultrabooks don't require them. Also you should seriously consider a ssd for a primary boot drive for a little extra money, literally boots and runs programs faster; maybe drop 8gigs of ram down to 6gb, then you would have a little extra funds for a ssd.
