Morning/Afternoon guys

 

quick one for you.

 

I recently just started to use a proxy for a new side. I'm paying for a monthly one. so i have 2 accounts and one laptop.

 

My question is, if i use chrome to log in to my new side (using the proxy i brought) can i then use a different browser, say firefox, to log in to my main at the same time not using the proxy which i have input in to chrome? so on my standard IP which my main has always been on?

 

If not, can i and how??

As long as the proxy doesn't tell neopets that it's forwarding traffic for your IP there shouldn't be any problems.

 

If it were, it'd have something like this in the headers coming from the proxy.

X-Forwarded-For : <your_ip>

 

Meanwhile they'd be able to see the source IP on your main and it'd match the one in this header. (assuming they would actually take these measures to prevent cheating, but who knows)
