Does anyone own a PSP 3000 system? Or any other version of the PSP? I was looking into buying the 3000 model because I saw all the old original Playstation titles that were available for download as well as the kingdom hearts and Megaman X game they have available for it, but I just wasn't sure if anyone had any bias against the system or any recommendations on which model to buy. I know the 3000 has an upgraded screen as opposed to the 2000. 

 

Also, I read a few things about the UMD functionality getting worse over time, anyone have any experience with that?

Just buy a PSP Go and softmod it.

I still have my PSP 2000 but it doesn't see any game time anymore... wouldn't know about the UMD function deteriorating as I've never bought any discs before if you know what I mean.
