So I reckon this is a good place to share this, as almost no one that frequents this forum will have heard it. John Fitzgerald Kennedy gave as his inaugural address one of the most rousing and poignant speeches in modern history.
The video that follows features students and alumni of the Harvard Kennedy School reading the speech in it's entirety, with some interesting and dynamic choices, among them Ban Ki-moon, Gordon Brown, Colin Powell, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (president of Liberia), Stephen Breyer (US Supreme Court Justice), and Michèle Pierre-Louis (a former PM of Haiti), as well as a host of US senators and congressmen.
Disclosure: I did find this by watching The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell. Just so no one comes at me like they caught me with my hand in the cookie jar.
