just wondering how it works.

Assume

Pet Hp: 20

Use Everlasting Crystal Apple every round

opponent deals dmg > 30hp every round

would the apple save me from dieing or i would still die from 1 Hit KO?

always wondered..

dont flame me if this question sound noobish  :ohwell:

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it can be carried on. I believe it heals as much as your HP bar can hold.

but would i die the after that turn?

do i take dmg first then heal

or do i heal first before i take the dmg

turn1:

My hp:20

me: atk Wep+ECA(which heals 30hp)

opponent: atk with 100dmg

what would the outcome be

(a) hp:20 (i survived)

(b) i die

if the answer is that i will die, then how does those pets with low hp and high def/str boost works? (ie 12hp 750str 750def pet) like how such pets take down high level mobs

confused  :S

the difference used to be that between overhealers (such as scorchstones) and normal ones (like greater healing scroll, short sleeved yellow tunic, eca, ...) - anyway there's no difference between them in the new BD atm (all healers are normal ones, there's no overhealing) which was listed as "known issue" in the beta news before the "war" started, so it may be changed back to the way it was.

for clarity it was like this:

normal healers healed you *before* receiving damage

overhealers healed you *after* receiving damage

example:

you currently have 40/50 HP, get 30 damage that round and use a healer that heals 50 HP

if it's a normal healer you heal up to 50 and then take 30 damage, so you have 20/50 HP afterwards

for a overhealer you first take 30 damage, so you have 10/50 HP now and then get healed up the 50 HP, so you end with 50/50 HP

It is a known issue that overhealers don't work in the new battledome? I do hope they change it back tho.

Well, given TNT's record, they won't be updating the beta for a looooooooooooong time....

yeah, it's been on the "known issues" list on the beta page the whole time: http://www.neopets.com/dome/beta.phtml
