Not sure, it doesn't seem to be seasonal though. It could be a potential case of false inflations since there's a relatively small number of them on the shop wizard so they'd be pretty easy to inflate just by one person. I can't see there being much demand for it though so I wouldn't say it's a legitimate investment item.

On the other hand, any inflation one person does won't be offset by being in a main shop... maybe I'll try it later, I've never tried inflating an item before.

Supply is only one side of investment though. There's no point buying a load of items as an investment if nobody wants to buy them. ;)

Usually u just buy em and they go up in price LOL, I honestly have no clue.  It would be nice if someone made a guide on how to invest your NP long term so they aren't eaten away at by inflation.  Diversification, etc that sort of thing.

How are retired books and stamps doing?
Is anyone currently collecting any items ?
hopefully you could share, by the way is it illegal to make something like a items to hoard topic so we fellow neocodex members can make some profit while Abing.

I would suggest making your own thread to ask these question instead of hijacking this one.

Yea, so the recent war has ended and prizes galore yay!

But I did notice that some items in the past plots have gone up tremendously, such as the altador strength pot. Do you think any of the items are worth picking up for investments? Most of them are stuff like petpets and weapons instead of consumables, so it doesn't look too strong in that regard too.

The Altador Strength Potion went up because people wanted quick training for the war, no other reason.

That's a really great idea, I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up in the past. Thanks for sharing (:

Tyrannian Paint Brush
Mysterious Obelisk Stamp

Experiment Notes: Hour 1
Are they worth investing because they were spoils for part of the rewards for the plot

I wouldn't go with the PB, if you look at the prices at the moment http://www.neocodex....ian-paint-brush 38k NP being the lowest, I only imagine the prices will drop even lower. Also the price has been gradually declining since 2011.

What about the stamps and books?
are they going to be inflated in the coming months ? or even years?
i know there's a risk that it might be given out as a reward of some kind.
So whats ur point of view?

^ theoretically it works. In reality be prepared to wait till the heat death of the universe before you get a decent price

I couldn't get the other two to come up in the database to give me enough information to give you an answer. I mean I suppose it really depends what you're prepared to invest NP wise. It's like gambling, always spend what you are prepared to lose in the long run.

Came in to let you know you spelled "hoarding" wrong.

Ahh it can be a rough lesson mate.. I've made tens of millions doing it so far this year, but I lost tens of millions learning how last year.
