I just thought of this, and I'm probably not the only one who's gotten this idea, but could you possibly abuse the score sender to purposely get frozen?

In a sense, it's a "self-freeze."

I came across this idea when I accidentally sent a Kass Basher score of 11k (LOL) and I got frozen within hours.

I heard that self-freezing doesn't work anymore since you are not forced to send in a ticket to TNT to request a freeze rather than an immediate freeze.

THE QUESTION: Do you think I could get away with transferring np (because I know the account is going to be frozen soon from AB records) to another shell and get the first frozen quickly by purposely having TNT review an insanely high score?

Any opinions or suggestions are WELCOME! :D

They will more than likely trace the items and chain ice you then.

fml. Thanks for answering though.

So what's the best option when transferring high-value items from shell accounts that have a high turnover rate to a "money holding" account? Decently safely of course.

There's a few guides on this, I'm on my phone right now, I'd link them but it's to hard for me to get them for you, just look in the general guides section.

Doing a bit of research/investigation and figuring out the best methods to maximize profit and minimize risk on one main account can easily make decent bank, and eliminates the need for multiple accounts.  One account = no transfers = significantly less chance of a freeze.

But for some different methods of transferring NP/Items, check out this guide: http://www.neocodex....ls-to-your-main

Yung wrote one as well, but I can't find it.

Yup, I read those as well as Yung's guide already but thanks for the links! :p

I don't have much faith in the safety of doing direct transferring/mispricing because the accounts are just too sketchy/trading too much with each other. :/

The shell account that's doing the transferring is bound to get iced (I'm planning on it) so that's the difficulty atm. I can't use the normal transferring methods, at least imo

Okay I've read over your thread and your PM very carefully. I am prepared to give my response at this time. Please note that this same response shall be made in the thread as well as your PM.

What I recommend in light of the vast amount of higher end items that you're trying to transfer...

  • Send the items to the receiving account > EDIT: GO ACCEPT THE ITEMS ON THE 2nd ACCOUNT.
  • Get first account iced (regardless of advice already given in this thread I believe that sending multiple outrageous/impossible scores via SS is your best bet) >
  • Don't even bother to log in to the 2nd account for 2-3 weeks >
  • After that time log in and see if the account was iced >
  • If not proceed about your usual business
  • Do this again with two different accounts but don't freeze the first one (PM me the results)

What I do not recommend:

  • Just transferring (for the quantity and value of the items you're sending over I don't feel it safe to do this)
  • Do NOT send a single Hidden Tower item. Sell it and buy a morphing potion.
  • Do NOT send a single r99 stamp or morphing potion. Sell it and buy a morphing potion.
  • Do not attempt to transfer these through trades, auctions, or stores. The last being especially important.
  • Finally, do not attempt to get the 1st account reactivated after this process.

These are just my recommendations, please feel free to take anyone's advice as you deem fit and anyone else is obviously able to give their own advice.

**footnote:

You could always just make a brand new account and transfer this stuff to it. From everything in my experiences and everything I've read TNT does not track account age hardly at all. (Personally I think they should if they're actually serious about stopping cheating)

after 2 days sent items that aren't accepted/rejected go back, regardless of whether the account is frozen or not

im still confused on why you can't self ice the account using the self ice link though o.o

but for real...i transfer illegit items through like 5-6 accounts on a daily basis, and ive been doing it for years while taking absolutely no precautions and ive never been iced for it.

but in any case, does profanity on the boards get you iced anymore? or do they just silence

it used to be really easy to get an account iced by just going through filters on the boards and using a lot of profanity

I meant immediately following accepting the items, you log out and don't log back in. Everyone should know you gotta accept them. I'll edit to clarify that though.

Can you elaborate on what the point of that is exactly (not logging in for a couple weeks)?

It's like attempting to hide out from the cops. You wait and hope they forget about you.

You just don't log in to the account for 21 days minimum.

By then you've removed the emotional attachment you may feel towards the items you've moved there. So if they're still there then cool you've got a mini-fortune. If not big deal, reacquire your loss and do it again.

On a practical side I've noticed a decrease in freeze rate by transferring and leaving the account alone. So that's why I recommend it.

FOR THE RECORD: Transferring items is not a science. You can have 9 or 99 successful transfers but get frozen on your 1st, 10th, 100th, etc. I can do the transfers the same way dozens of times without incidence and then get iced shortly after a transfer some other time. It happens.

thinks like trading post trades, auctions, shop history (even after you clear your shop history), stay in tnts systems for 6 months, im not sure if it applies to gifted items also

but the rest, ya 6 months, so if you really want a solid time period... :p
