OKAY, so I know tons of you guys get really annoyed when someone leaves Key Quest after you beat them in a mini-game or just as soon as you win, they leave to make the game end as an unfair way of saying goodbye. Yeah, well, I've found a way to stop that. This is personal experience, so please do not get mad if this doesn't work with you.

Okay, first tip!

If you have any tokens which you bought in the NeoCash shop, go back to using your default one to make you look new, because which player checks another player out whilst playing? This should make the other player/s think less of you, and they'll probably not try too hard to win. This gives you the advantage of beating them with a hefty amount of Neopoints, and the gold key for coming first. This is one way of being good at Key Quest

--------------

Second tip = ITEMS!

So, you've won your game and you get some sweet items...But you already won them before, and you have no idea what to do with them. I was SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY lucky today when I got a part of the Laboratory Map, but I didn't want it, so I sold the piece for a nice amount of 50k, which got me up to a staggering amount of 63,487 Neopoints. I know that was the wrong price, but I'm pretty damn proud of it. (They had a fight on the auctions. Huehuehue)

Lesson : Valuable items can have more worth in Neopoints for something you actually need instead of using it for something else which will get boring soon..

---------------------

Third Tip = How to stop people leaving the game.

Before you enter a round, ask the other players if they want to be your friend. If they say yes, they will most likely stay till the end of the game, so they can remember your name. This makes it easier for you to play without worrying about them leaving. Make sure to ask them for a friend request though, or else they might leave.

-----------------------

These tips worked for me as I went, and suffice to say, they're not actually that bad for me. Again, sorry if these do not work for you as they have worked for me, and please don't get mad if they don't.

If you have any questions, ask in the comments or PM me. I'll be happy to help you!

-Kai

Key Quest is very nice game which involves you being a defaulted Bruce, Poogle, Cybunny or Meerca. You can get tokens at the NeoCash Shop. Heres the link to the game > http://www.neopets.c...st/redeem.phtml

Oh, I hate that damn game... Also you're not serious that 63k is a staggering amount? Right?

Even if they are serious, let them have their limelight.

Some good points. :) Other ways to avoid cheaters and quitters include:

1. Avoid quick games or starting your own game. Only play with those who have a rating of "Top Notch", or the green face.

2. Have an empty tab pulled up. Before entering a game with someone, check out their Key Quest profile. Usually those who haven't really established a score or have way more gold keys than silver are those you want to avoid.

3. Go to the Key Quest boards and seek out other non-quitters to play with.

Good luck and happy Key Questing! :)

I've never intentionally quit a game and I have over 400 golds but only 100ish silvers.

Is Keyquest worth it? I once played with my friend and the prizes were mediocre. Is there a better prizepool further on? :)
