There's an awful lot of memes that could sum this up better than I can, but I have no idea what I'm doing.

What's the difference? 

 

I understand the anonymity level, but does the port make a difference? 

 

I've managed to get a proxy working once, now I just can't get it to work

It's also worth noting socks proxies don't work with codex programs. (at least not to my knowledge.)

Also, try to pick a high anonymity proxy and definitely not a transparent one.

Hide my ass usually has a few free proxies that work decently, if only for a couple of hours. Like Waser said, free proxies are usually horrid. Some sites sell proxies for 2 or 3 USD a month. If you want to pay np for a proxy, post it in the trading post. You never know, someone might be up for that.

But if you cba to replace your proxy lists over and over every couple hours then I would really recommend shelling at least just a few bucks a month for private proxies/premium VPN.

Yeah, it used to be profitable to spend money on cheating at Neopets since you can sell items, accounts or services that you got out of it for good prices.

 

However, now such trading economy is dwindling so it is no longer worthwhile.

 

Anyway, I don't think you can find any good and highly anonymous proxy in the Internet for free nowadays, they have all been abused or become paid subscription due to high demand for them when online games trades were very profitable.
