Valorous has developed quite a comprehensive suite that does all of that here.

 

I tried to download it a little while ago, but sort of freaked out and didn't touch it again when my antivirus killed the download. It just did it again. Is it supposed to do that, and am I supposed to disable my antivirus? o.O

What antivirus do you use? It's most likely a false positive.

I use Norton. Is that notorious for axing programs?

Ew. Yes. You will be fine if you disable it to install the suite.

I did as you said and it installed fine, worked fine...until the temporary disable period expired and it axed the program right away. Sigh. Thanks anyway!

Get a different/better antivirus program I can recommend Avast! Antivirus. It's what I use and have had no issues.

Nope...running on all default settings. Guess I'll just have to get a new antivirus like Strategist said, or disable it every time I want to use the Suite.

I posted this in Valorous's thread but an auto book buyer/reader (maybe NQ can fix his? ), stamp buyer/adder, and 1np rubbish collector/discarder (for rubbish avatar) would all be very useful

There is an allowed programs list somewhere, but you probably want this instead:

 

Settings > AntiVirus > SONAR Protection > SONAR Advanced Mode > Set "Remove Risks Automatically" to "Ask Me".
