I have made all kinds of plushies and never did I see one (especially a 3 clothed one) always in the 120 range. Maybe it was a red one though.... which I tend to avoid. Were you told by an OLD PT player? I may have to check your story out with my own testing.... lol

Blue Draiks tend to selling between 94-125, but the price changes so much, it's just frustrating to try to make and sell them. They usually run about 50 nps cheaper to build than the Orgins. If you really were determined, make a butt load of them and just ship one here and there, wait 5 mins and see the prices, if they are around 110, ship a bunch to the store.

You really don't want the prices to be over 110 unless you just don't care how long it takes to sell them. For 100 sized jobs, it could take up to 7 updates. Imagine if the size was 500 or even 2000, it would take FOREVER.

The main plushie to build here are Yellow Orgins. If you do any other, you're just playing around at that point. Yellow Orgins will give you the trophy/avatar that you need. Once your get the cool things, then maybe you can experiment finding that 120 plushies (if it exists :/)

I think for faster sales, you need to spend a lot on advertising. How much should you spend when you just opened your shop? I don't wanna go bankrupt but I want faster sales.

What is the penalty for missing the taxman? He's due in 2 days, and I have no idea when he's due exactly so I'm sure to miss his arrival.

So invest as many neopoints as possible into "building" plushies, stock my factory with jobs, and don't hire any workers until after he's come? So should I invest until I only have around 49k cash on hand?

you need your money in order to win your trophy because the game ends tomorrow. :o in order to avoid the taxman, you simply don't check your plushie tycoon at all. i've made enough profits and with my current CoH, i'm expecting my trophy in 1st/2nd november. i've left my game since 2 days ago.

Okay, thank you! So I'm officially no longer checking my game. I do have more than enough to get the avatar/trophy. Thank you :)

I'm going to give the game a try after reading your guide. :) Hopefully I'll have the drive to keep at it all month.

After I make the first batch of plushies do I just wait until I can ship them? (so no buying more materials or anything)

~Thanks, hoping for the avatar this month.

here are some guides to help you with plushie tycoon:

1. http://www.neopets.com/~MapleHood

2. http://www.neopets.com/~GrundyTycoon

it depends on how many jobs you made. the more jobs you have in the warehouse, the longer you have to wait before those tickboxes to appear (you can refer on grundytycoon's petpage). shipped plushies will go to your shop where they'll be sold. depending on your upgrades and advertisements, it may take several updates before all plushies will be sold and for you to get your profit back to make another batch.

Hmm. I never tried it, but I am not sure if the whole "not go back to your game" is a good idea. But if it works out, let me know, because I have been wondering this for a long time. it would sure help me with the new players I help every day.

There's penalties for not paying rents or not having pay the taxman... so I don't know if the server can read this part or not. I do know it works if you're low on cash and your jobs haven't sold out yet, if you wait a few hours for the jobs to sell out (and not go back to the game for a while), you wont bankrupt...

I think for faster sales, you need to spend a lot on advertising. How much should you spend when you just opened your shop? I don't wanna go bankrupt but I want faster sales.

You would think this is true, but doesn't appear to be, I ran 10 days this month with just the amount I advise the new players to start with (3 levels of the first 3 listed) and my sales were the same as when I maxed them out just a couple days ago. It MIGHT help with the bigger jobs (I make 1000+ now), but for smaller jobs (500 and under) I don't think there's much of a difference.

Well this is interesting, could explain why some of the older players accelerate compared to the rest of us who are just as good :)

I tried your guide and it went really well for me. Thank you thank you!

I started a little late but I managed to get enough for the avatar and maybe even a silver trophy. I am not quite sure about my cash at the end.

Among all the batches of ogrins I produced, I saw only one batch sold for 98, two for 105 and everything else for 103. and they sell fast, too. Atleast, they do for me.

Also, I noticed that there is like one to three hours (usually consecutive) in the day where prices of materials are really low. I usually wait for that sweet time when yellow cloth is ~200, stuffing ~500, gems ~1500 and bags ~ 800 and stock up.
