I'm angry that I didn't get the avatar, so far it seems that you had to be quite active (doing it daily) in the actual Food Eating Contest. Do you think the prizes are glitched? Some discussion in the neoboards: http://www.neopets.c...topic=155007681
 

I think I found them... I saw no user so far that violated these specifications:

• Bobblehead: everyone that participates
• Book: cheer a certain amount of times (maxing out does not affect this, might be possible you needed to do it daily)
• Juice: do all flower puzzles (doing on day of release was not required, just finishing them)
• Background: finish 20 floors (margin of +/- 4 floors)
• mDB meter: get all 4 items from the previous post.
• Avatar: same as mDB meter
• Site theme: see bobblehead

You get 2.5k if you got 1 prize, 5k for 2 prizes, 10k for 3 prizes, 15k for 5 or 6 prizes (it is not possible to get 4 prizes)

I have not found a solution for the petpet yet

The event was pretty meh... but... then again... it is just neopets

They should rerelease it next year or something, that would be okay. I hate it when they don't tell you what you need to do to get the avatar. Guessing for avatars is all well and good but it should only be implemented for non-retired avatars.

Same here, I'm pretty sure I ended up missing out on a negg avatar at one point, because I didn't realise neggs had to be found every day, or I would have put more effort in And then the av retired, never to return...

 

 

Also, lack of trophy = disappointing.
