Am I the only one that has ever eaten Cashew Apples.  While not botanically a true fruit,  I did a paper on this in the 4th grade because Jonathan has nut allergy.  Jonathan's parents are real jerks.  In preschool we couldn't bring in ANY outside food because of him, unless it was from McDonalds. 

 

 Daddy smuggled us some Cashew Apples out of Brazil and they are DIVINE.  Sweet with little kick of spice.   They make a liquor out of them, I have read.  

 

Also, cashews have starch in them unlike real nuts.   Pistachios are not true nuts but I don't know if they have starch or not.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't really like chocolate either, to be honest, unless it's really expensive.

Daddy makes us go and crack a bunch of black walnut to make pie before T-day.  It is ok, but not worth all the bother.    I like the ice cream idea better
