This is one of my most coveted avatars, so ets hope that new trick with the "a" works!

It does. It took me a year of playing everyday to get it, but since I've been able to take it down three more times, this is just a really frustrating avatar cause of how random it is (and that guy laughing at you doesn't help).

I ran the AP in Program Manager a few different days and got it out of sheer luck. The avatar never happened for me in the year or so I spent trying to get it manually.

There is no special trick to increase the odds. All the servers care about is if the mouse is lined up with a coconut (yes, they let you purposely miss). It can take thousands or even millions of tries before you win. I personally knocked down a coconut and made a coconut explode on my current main within a year of each other but I've gotten nothing since then...

 

I just submitted the bookmarklet I made so it automatically does 20 throws for me. I'll post a link here once a mod accepts it.

I just got it trowing every day. there are some cracks in the ceiling you can use for aiming

I got it just by doing the same trick that everyone else said, put the cursor in the middle of the "a". Although it bugged out and didn't say that I got anything (just kind've froze) but I got the avvie when I checked my preferences and got a coconut when I checked my inventory.

it's pretty much all luck. just keep at it daily and you should get it eventually.

From one of the threads describing the coconut shy aper, they stated that the flash app only sends whether it is lined up with a coconut or not. So it doesn't matter if you aim it high/low/to the side/on a specific area, as long as it in the hitbox. The rest is up to chance

I find the center of the "a" less successful than using the left side of that same "a" personally.

got mine after 2 weeks. played the max time every day with about 70% success everyday. My previous win took a month. So, basically like everyone is saying...time, and I average about 1 month per knockdown. Still haven't gotten an explosion

I got it randomly. I think the "a" tip works.
