I think the light/dark should be considered after the contest. The user bars for the contest should be specified to a particular skin (probably default, since that's what most people will be doing the voting on).
Then the winner can make alternate versions if it's decided that will be necessary.

Yep, I agree, I also think this would be a better idea.

Agreed. For now, whoever wishes to enter, please create your userbars to accommodate the Default skinset on the forum. 
@Dan, you may enter as many variations of your userbars as you like, but just be wary that we will probably only choose one of the however many variants you enter for consideration to add to the voting.

This. If you are willing to put forth the effort and have different ideas you want to try out, go for it. You can enter as many sets as you'd like.
Yeah, me too. I would like to look into increasing the size limits if we can. Because, well tbh, I wanna show off my manly facial features UP CLOSE *huehue*
@Dan, this isn't such a bad idea, seeing as we will most likely be introducing a darker theme sooner or later (especially since we're currently trialling the Blue Bohegeha one).
@Kate, thoughts?
Somehow missed this. I think that's a pretty reasonable idea too, I just worry that it's even more work to put in? I mean it could be something that is acceptable but not mandatory. Right?
