I take it your tablet is broken? Mine wasn't working properly back in the Summer and took it apart in an attempt to fix it. I broke it entirely. xD

Yeah my eldest son knocked it off the desk and it broke :'( I haven't done any sort of 'art*' since.
*I use that term in the loosest sense... 
I'm horrible actually.

What tablet are you looking into getting? The Intuos 5 is fantastic <3
