When I was younger all I wanted to do was collect Spiderman Cards. I recently found my collection whilst cleaning out the garage. This is so cool, I had totally forgotten about it.
When I was younger I collected stamps. I got most of them from my grandma, she had a lot of old letters. I also loved it to collect stickers. Now I don't collect anything anymore.
I used to collect Pogs back in the day, most people won't know what those are now though.
Do you still have them?
Was cleaning my girlfriends room out the other day, and found hers (although there were Tazos thrown in as well) They've been absorbed into my collection.

Loved Pogman
I have no idea, I'd guess they're still in the shed somewhere, they'll probably turn up one day.
I started counting the caps in the big pretzel jug, but once I hit 500 and saw that there was still a decently sized pile of them of the floor, I gave up.
Oh, I forgot things (cause I'm a hoarder or something.)
I have a sex toy collection and a seed collection.
warning huge pictures
Spoiler
Not pictured is my gallon and a half of heirlooms, mainly cause I can't find them right now for some reason. I had them out the other day when I was planning the garden, but I don't know.

Do you freeze your seeds? I've always kept seeds I'm not using in the freezer.
I haven't heard good things about the GoT LCG, but I really like Gloom. My copy is still in shipping, sadly, and I've only played it once. Cristen was dubious, but I'm pretty sure she enjoyed the game we played with my brother. The transparent cards are just ingenious, and the storytelling that we do with the cards is insanely fun
What have you heard? I fuckin' love the GoT LCG... but I think it has a lot to do with family dynamic. My mom uses the Barratheon deck, her boyfriend plays Targaryen, I always play house Stark, and my brother is the Lannisters. My brother and I have favorite cards that we make a huge announcement when we play that character from our deck... some cards we've made up songs for...
Spoiler
for instance, there's a Lannister card called "Ser Gregor's Band" and whenever my brother plays that card, he'll sing "We're Ser Gregor's baaaaaaand" to this stupid tune... http://www.youtube.c...h?v=dKfYTy8wHjY
And for my super expensive, banned from tournaments "Jaqen H'ghar" card, we sing his name to the tune of the sample song on this one keyboard we've had since I was a child.
Whenever a character is killed, we try to make each other feel guilty. Like, I have an Old Nan card that dies constantly and I hold it out for everyone to see and in an old lady voice I say, "Oh, my sweet summer child, you've killed an old woman. I hope you're proud of yourself. May you burn in all fiery pits of the seven hells" No guilt is ever felt when my brother's beloved Cersei Lannister card is killed. (Although he surprised me once after I killed her by taking off his shirt in a rage... and he had all these gangsta Lannister tattoos drawn on him)
Aside from all that ridiculousness, the game itself is pretty good. Once you get used to it, it should only take 2 hours or less to gain the power you need to win. Each round has surprises and limits that can upset your plans, so it's anyone's game. Each house has it's strength's and weaknesses (Starks have excellent military strength, but close to no political intrigue strength) and each round you get a different advantage of being King of the Realm, Master of Coin, Kingsguard, etc.... I own two copies of the game and have a shit ton of the expansion chapter packs.
Man, that and the new trailer for season 4's got me all wanting to kill some Lannisters.
