I guess I'll go by pomegranate on here?  I normally go by my real name online but I'd rather not, for somewhat-anonymity (how anonymous are most people here lol?)

 

I'm just starting to use the forums here but I've been browsing neocodex for a while, never used any of the programs but I do love the item db here.

 

I've been on neo since 2001, still have my original accounts and I'd like to keep it that way!  A side of mine got iced once in 2002-ish for attempting to sell an account for nps, but other than that never been frozen, silenced, or even warned... probably because I rarely use the neoboards.

Haha yep.  Pretty much all I do is bump trading boards and occasionally say "nty glt"!  I see sooo many people get frozen for innocuous stuff that I'm very nervous to post much at all, which is silly because I feel like that's the whole point of the game but whatever.

Welcome to Codex, and yeah...the whole arbitrary icing system there at Neo is psychotic at best.

Yeah I'm probably not going to use any programs or buy/sell anything since I've had the account since 2001 and I have a few ucs, so I don't want to lose it.

 

The only thing I might try is making 5 new accounts, going by a different alias or something, and using a vpn or ip blocker... but honestly I have no idea how to set that up and I don't know if it would work anyway.

You would get in trouble for owning 5+ accounts. create them/use them on different IPs on each account
