i can see why haha. my bf and friends didnt like it too much either. alot of males don't like it. i guess since it's a bunch of women, men can't find the humor in certain things they go through. on top of the fact that it COULD be compared to OZ since its a female prison while OZ was for males and since OZ was HARDCORE x 1000, compared to OITNB which is basically like summer camp. you can't get the prison vibe from this show.

Seriously, I find it hard to believe he just straight up disappeared like that. I thought the scene of him leaving the crib was more of a "I don't want Cezar's help or hand me downs, I'm gonna be a great father on my own" type of thing. Boy was I dead wrong.

Legit question: How many of you watch it just for the lesbian scenes? I haven't had time to get into this show...

Eh, my boyfriend watches it for the lesbian scenes. I'm not a prude but sex scenes on any show makes me uncomfortable so I don't watch it for the scenes at all. I find them a bit unnecessary really.

She didn't seem badass to me. She seemed like she was trying too hard to seem badass and it was kind of laughable.

Got to admit, the whole prison lesbian sex thing has got a bit tiresome by now.

My main issue is Nicky getting sent to max. Felt it was a bit lacking without her sass.

 

Liked the lighter tone compared to last season but thought the main storylines were just a bit...stupid

I hated Red being such a pussy this season.

I hated Alex being such a pussy this season.

I thought the new chick (the accenty one Piper hooked up with) was hot and I was pissed she stole the money but I kinda saw it coming. I do think it was a dick move for Piper to plant the contraband, but she's gotta establish her dominance somehow.

I especially enjoyed the flashbacks and getting to know the childhoods of a lot of the people, especially Chang and Boo.

 

Pornstash in prison made me laugh so hard. I felt bad for his mom though when they lied about the baby dying.

 

The ending was perfect, but she's about to go down next season I already know.

I didn't really get this decision, it seemed completely unnecessary to get rid of her for such a small thing. Hopefully she'll be back next series and perhaps it was just a way to get her sentence extended or something, she only had a couple of years left in the first series I think.

I don't think people really come back from max do they? It was probably the most unexpected moment of the season for me and the most disappointing.

Yeah, I hope they bring Nicky back next season. They need to let Sopha out of SHU too. 

 

I thought a main theme of the whole season was people finding where they belong so I thought it was sad that those two characters were locked up by the end.

For some reason I thought the new girl (Ruby Rose) was going to be the one that was there to kill Alex hahaha. Also, I kind of hate Pornstash, and I feel like everyone forgets that he basically killed that one girl in season one.

I'm really curious how much time Piper has already spent in prison. Her sentence was 15 months. I'm wondering if they'll make her get caught for the underwear thing and extend her sentence.
