VOTING CRITERIA:
1) Voters should take into consideration whether the selected Codexian is worthy of spending the time to have a read-over an entry about them (as in, someone who is never present or known of by only a handful of individuals wouldn't necessarily make for an interesting subject).
2) Regardless of how many entries are in the running, you cannot vote for yourself (sorry!).
3) If necessary, a 3-day tiebreaker will follow to resolve disputes at the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd position.

Quick shots of Kordelia in an orange jumpsuit crawling through a ventilation shaft, kicking a metal panel, and diving off a high cliff. Aerial shot of a modern office building before cutting to a closeup of Kat at a desk in business attire.
Kat: "We're testing a prototype prison facility that deal with people no government wants on their books."
Scene of flea being savagely beaten by guards donning black uniforms with 'CODEX' shoulder patches. Blood is everywhere.
Kordelia: "And you need me to make sure if this facility is escape proof."
Kat: "Precisely."
Majestic dramatic action music blasts in as scenes of Kordelia fending off multiple unidentified assailants via hand to hand combat in a dark alleyway plays out.
Neoquest [to figure offscreen]: "Kordelia's gone off the grid. WHERE IS SHE?"
Crane shot of a blindfolded Kordelia getting thrown off a Lockheed AC-130.

Strategist: "There is no ShadowLink64."

Adam: "I can help you if you get me out of here."
Kordelia: "How can I trust you?"
Adam: "I used to work here. You're my only hope of finding out who did this to me."
Greater escalating music accompanied by quick shots of Kordelia burning a book labeled 'Codex Burns', slamming her fist on a keypad, exchanging blows with Kate [guard], piloting a transport helicopter while under fire, throwing a grenade down a hallway before taking cover, examining the prison database, hanging on to Adam off the ledge of a high rise building. Music stops, cut to black.

Entry #5:
"A Day in the Life of Dan"
I know not whether to dub Dan a hero or villain. I yearn to understand him because he is an enigma and I cannot resist a good puzzle. At present, there are two distinct tides refusing to share the same waters: one that truly understands him and even praises his emphatic bluntness and the other, the victimized and wounded that keeps their distance except for the absolute imperative. What a confusing world it must be to experience a day in the life of Dan.
There is perceived division in his persona but to my own experience, I fear my conclusions are without substantiation. The two tides which churn his reputation are mere rumors, dubious and callow. My curiosity for this investigation stems from the absence of a humanity beyond his name. For my own sanity, I cling to the assumption that there is a greater spectrum that demystifies the forbidden middle.
If there is way a chance to meet him outside the bounds of a crystal display, I hesitate not and pursue it. However, I succumb to accepting the alternative: perusing his profile. The results were as not satisfying as I attended; his neutral tone further muddled my perception with greater mystery. His proficient ability with language is second only to his credibility on the programming matters of a Neopets Mobile App, open libraries for autoplayers and even the website itself. If I am to force a deduction, I would address his confidence from offering up assistance with a chuckle-worthy moving image. Lamentably, mere confidence is never enough for me. My dog is confident in warding off pidgeon.
I let the day end without any satiating evidence. I am forced to, as would be said colloquially, sleep on it. In my dreams I envisioned the community of NeoCodex in person: Strategist slathered on excessive hair gel, Nymph emanated brilliance in a well-braided bun, Sweeney appeared off-putting without glasses, Mishelle engaged the crowds as the center of conversation with a sophisticated smoke in-hand and finally, I saw him. With dark hair and slightly puffy eyes, he extended his right hand. I could not help but account for his genuine smile. Dan was indeed smiling. I found my answer.
Surrounded, he has friends here. He has a history here. He intends to pave a great future for his beloved home here—in NeoCodex, even at the cost of self-preservation. I understood that much the very least. He would not let go of his family as would the next. It all made sense.
It is a pity my imagination is not tethered to the world of the living. In the end, I could not pull myself to ask him in person (or at least through a Private Message). I do not have the tenacity for direct confrontation for I fear the unknown. In my absence I pray you, the reader, would do so in place of my feeble will and fortified cowardice.
