I guess you could probably test it on historical data but that's not as exciting. Hopefully I explained it in a way that's understandable anyway.

I'm struggling to find any motivation considering it hasn't restocked in weeks and weeks and weeks. The pattern might unintentionally change as a result of running on new hardware, too

I can't see it changing significantly, not the actual pattern of it anyway. The seconds themselves might change a bit but I don't think it would affect the logic behind it.
