One of my laptops is on Windows XP but that probably hasn't got the guts inside it to run anything newer - plus I need it for compatibility issues with older software.
 
My main laptop is windows 7 and that is a very good OS.
 
My parents' laptop is windows 8.1 and even now I haven't got used to it (when I do use it). Here's hoping windows 10 will be an improvement on window 8.

Whoops, sorry about that. I only just realized (after I made my post) that the thread was a year old. Bumping the thread wasn't intentional, I forgot to check the date. If bumping old threads isn't allowed them please return the thread to before I posted in it.
