Reddit! Already took Alien Blue off of my phone and changed my homepage to my online school's website. Yes, Reddit was my homepage... #dork

I don't do Lent, but I've been resisting the compulsion to shop for stuff...I have to move across my country soon. I must accept the idea that a) I have to pare down my worldly possessions and b) the airline might cause me to lose half my stuff. Again.

I'm doing something new and different this year and following a devotional based on Hebrews 12:1 instead of giving up one big thing.

I'm giving nothing up. I'm too weak to stick to it.

I have always given up television and fasted, and then giving up smaller things as well.
Last year I added facebook to this.
Unfortunately the doctor gave me a no go on fasting this year :\ so i've cut out some things.
I am also just taking up a lot of things as well.

Not so much for Lent but since it coincides...I was thinking about giving up black tea (or at least cut down to twice or thrice a week). I like mine really strong and I'm pretty sure like all extremes, it can't be good for me.
Aside from that, I'd like to set aside a portion of money no matter how broke I am to contribute to worthy causes.

I don't think I'm going to give anything up, but rather limit things. I think I need to limit my time on the computer. I look at a screen all day at work and then just hang out on my computer at night. Probably not the best for my eyes.
